No problems Jonathan! I think the voting is a really cool feature of Listly. Have you seen the SharePoint Developer List? That's really popular.

I keep reading it & try tools, just a quick update though.... the link to the "CAML Query Builder" is great but the download link on that site doesn't work.  I know thats out of your scope but just an FYI.

I am moving away from developing soon to an Analyst role elsewhere (Bradford actually) but some of these tools will prove very usuful I am sure ;)

Has any of you used ControlPoint by Axceler or Idera's Management tools? Any feedback?

Hi Francois, I've done market comparisons as well as hands-on evaluations of various tools for clients repeatedly over the years, and Control Point has consistently come out at the top in its class. Where Idera has done well is the system monitoring; one of my clients decided to use SCOM instead of their tool and spent months configuring it - but unfortunately they didn't know what to set as sensible alert levels and had to learn the hard way... good made-for-purpose tools have these configured by default.

Mark great work and awesome list and best so far is AvePoint and Control Point, Idera is learning but no close these two products.

AvePoint is not just a tool, it has many other components built in to it and I did find one need a technical learning of the application to use its complete capabilities (i did see a job posting only for AvePoint LOL).

ControlPoint on other hand its cool too, couple of years back its OK but now they did listen to reviews and worked on it.

Mark... firstly well done on the comprehensive list, very useful indeed.

The links don't seem to work in Chrome, if I remove this "?utm_campaign=Listly&utm_medium=list&utm_source=listly" from the URL then it opens the project page in codeplex otherwise defaults to the home page.

Mark,  I wonder if you could recommend a decent YouTube downloader.  Ideally this should be addon to IE or FF or Chrome with an optional ability just to convert to mp3.  I am just a bit nervous because some of these downloaders come with nauseating adware components and can even install hooks in the windows registry; requiring manual uninstall.   I
